Another Month! It's August, Our Anniversary Month!

SAVE THE DATE:  SATURDAY, AUGUST 14
Your Maine Stamper Celebrates Fourteen Years on the Fourteenth!!!

I know there are special sales planned for this event, food, raffles, and free make and takes.  Penny Bennington is going to show you how to make grungepaper roses a la Tim Holtz with her own special touches!

We're waiting for our August Stamp of the Month to arrive any day now from Magenta:  Musical Bird Collage.  You will love it for late summer, fall, and even Christmas and winter cards!  There are lots of ways to ink, color, emboss, and glitter up this image!

More Memory Box items arrived at the end of the week and I put them out on the shelves on Saturday--we replenished our stamps supply.  The Fall, Christmas and Spiders jewels are in!  We have more of the Thistle and Wassail cards as well as Iris blue ones and the 6X6 packages of Christmas and fall papers.  We also got in more of the 12X12 paper with the tiny bundled up birds on it.  We expect another order including PoppyStamps later in the week.  Both the Christmas and PoppyStamps catalogs are now available at the store.  Pick one up from the little table in the memory Box area.

Since it is no longer July and our Christmas in July special ended on Saturday, all of the Christmas stamps have moved to the black shelves.  Halloween has taken over the front table!  This is Lydia's favorite holiday and she goes all out with new papers, stickers, stamps, and ribbons.  I think you'll like the gift bags that she and Althea made--great ideas for using your stamps and stickers for gift packaging! You will notice that the other center table has also changed its focus to late summer and fall with some lovely new papers and an assortment of stamps including some great sunflower images.

Twinkling H2Os are in and we LOVE them!!!  Luscious colors that add shimmer and shine to your watercolored images!  Lots of new inks are here, too--great colors for fall and the holidays!

I expect that boxes will keep arriving via UPS, FedEx, and the postal service as newly released items from CHA become available to us.  Keep your eye on what's happening at Your Maine Stamper!

Don't forget that our annual Crafters Yard Sale is Saturday August 21st!  It's not too late to reserve your space in the parking lot.  $10, bring your own table and sell gently used/never used crafting supplies and rubber stamps that you no longer want.  Come early and shop for super bargains!  I know Connie is putting together dozens of her famous collage packs.  We usually have at least ten vendors with a wide variety of items for sale at reasonable prices.  Lydia usually runs some sort of sale inside the store that day, too.  That will be another fun Saturday this month!
