CLOSED MONDAY FOR LABOR DAY; Save the Date 10/3

You will have to shop today for the long weekend because we are closed on Monday. It seems like UPS/FEDEX/USPostalService are showing up on a regular basis with new goodies for us. Swing card sets, Flip card sets, Swirl card sets, and Flip Stamps all arrived from Repeat Impressions this week. I've continued my rearranging and decorating and the Christmas area looks spiffy with its trees, snowmen and Santa Clauses. Fall stamps are featured on the counter, the September Stamp of the Month is in with only four left, and the front table features Thanksgiving and Christmas stamps from Memory Box and other companies. Several orders went out this week so we expect a flurry of activity soon as more boxes arrive and we make space for new products. Quite a few nice papers are in the sale area now at half price, and we can always arrange a "deal" on Grungeboard and other Tim Holtz items on the sale table. Please let us know if there's something you are looking for that we don't have. We're glad to track down products for you.

Save the Date: Saturday October 3rd! This will be our next BIG EVENT. I'll post more details on Tuesday night (after I figure out what that day will be about!), so be sure to check the blog next week on late Tuesday night or Wednesday.

I'm trying to work up the calendar of classes for September and October. Is there anything special you'd like? A particular kind of project? How-to workshops for specific products? During a weekday? Saturdays? Just let me know by calling the shop or posting a comment on this blog. I'll see what I can arrange.

I did spend last evening making up a really neat Bo Bunny book kit. I'll leave the sample in the shop on Tuesday. This would be an easy, fun class and the book is the perfect thing for summer memories, photos, etc.

Happy Stamping!

Anne

  1. I love any kind of "book" projects or cards set ideas that can be used for upcoming holiday/hostess gifts. Fun ways to enclose a gift card would be great too. And always I would love to do some kind of jewelry/charm class.

  2. May I once again tell blog readers how they can post a comment without becoming a "member"? The system is simple: 1)go to "Post a comment" box; 2)type your message; 3) go immediately below the comment box to "Select Profile" and scroll down to Anonymous; 4) Click "Post Comment: which brings up a strange series of letters; 5) type those letters into the space provided; 6)click the dark "Post Comment" space and this should give you a post for Anne's YMS blog. I know that Anne would love feedback, suggestions on classes and events therefore this is your opportunity. Connie
