Finally Friday Sale! The Paving is Finished Sale!

Lydia and Rod are having a lovely vacation in the Berkshires this week.  Perfect weather!  Taking in historical sites!  Drives in the country!

Connie and I keep playing at the store in spite of the fact that it has been almost impossible to get there all week.  The DOT finished paving yesterday so the cones and trucks and equipment are GONE at last!  There's a beautifully paved new entrance from Main Street into our parking lot.  Come check it out!

New products arrived yesterday from Hero Arts including 3-packs of mini misters and some absolutely beautiful clear stamps sets.  All of the clear stamps have moved to the white triangle rack since we now have sooo many in.  New products also are on the shelves from Penny Black--new wood stamps include lots of words and some really cute images and some gorgeous stickers.

Can't you just imagine one of these with a scrap of printed paper on a lovely Memory Box card?!  Easy Peasy!









I can't even imagine what Connie will put on sale today!!!  She is sooo relieved for the paving to be done with that almost anything is possible!  Give her a call or better yet stop by and pick up some good deals.  Today and tomorrow are the last two days of our fabulous Cat's Away sale.  Bargains galore!!!

Rumor #1:   is that they will be paving out front over the huge hole they dug recently. I think you can still find a way to get in.
Rumor #2: is that Robyn is coming in to the shop around 10 this morning before she starts packing up the van for the BIG MOVE--she and her husband are leaving for California on Sunday.

There are some new markers in for those of you who like to color your stamps before printing them.  These are four coordinating colors to a box in four different sets.  We're experimenting with these to see how people like them.  I'll be using them in classes for awhile and taking orders then.  They are similar to Tombow pens or LePlume markers and are made by Tsukineko, my favorite pen company.

This is one of the cards from today's Enchanted Butterflies class.  It uses several of the new Memory Box stamps and a sheet of the Memory Box Garden Magic 12X12 paper.  It is called a Tri-Shutter Card--you can find directions online if you Google it's name.  I also wrote more about it on the Outside the Box blog--it's today's post!

Lydia called to tell me that NINE colors of Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels have arrived!  Hurry in and check out the selection!

SAVE THE DATE:  July 14th!!!  Dave Brethauer, owner and designer and teacher extraordinaire from Memory Box, will be at Your Maine Stamper!!!  We are the first stop on his East Coast Summer Tour!!!  Dave will teach two classes that day, one using colored pencils and one using watercolor techniques, and both classes will use the What's In the Box holiday 2010 stamps!!!  The images are so new that I haven't even seen them yet!  Classes will be $40 each or take both for $70.  Watch this space, our e-mails from Lydia, and check the store for more info in the next couple of weeks.  Dave will be sending samples and I'll start taking names and fees to reserve spots soon.
