It's almost the first of JULY! That means it's almost Christmas in July at Your Maine Stamper!

We have so many neat things planned during the month of July!

On Saturday afternoon I set up the Christmas in July table with all of our Christmas stamps and all of them are discounted all month long!!!

Our bulletin board behind the desk has all of the information regarding Dave Brethauer's visit from Memory Box on July 14th.  If you have signed up for Dave Brethauer's classes, the deadline for payment is July 1 and that date is fast approaching.  Checks can be made out to Dave and either mailed to YMS or dropped off at the store.  We'd LOVE to see you!  And we'll take cash, too!  Remember one class is $40; two classes are $70.  Connie and I are working out the details for lunch for everyone for that day.   We want you to shop that day--Dave is bringing extra Memory Box "stuff" to supplement what we'll have in the shop.  All of the newest fall and Christmas stamps will be unveiled on Monday, July 5th!!!  I can hardly wait for those boxes to arrive!!!  They'll be here sometime this week!!!  I've been making room for all of the new 12X12s, the 6X6 paper packs, and lots and lots of new stamps and samples.  There's a big order going out this week for Flower Soft and all of the inks and other supplies for making up the newest Memory Box cards that will be in the box.

On the 24th we'll be celebrating a Customer Appreciation Day with free make-your-own ice cream sundaes and a free Make & Take, too!  The festivities start at 12:30 and will last until the ice cream is gone (eaten up or melted)!!!  Charlene is also hosting a class (2 hours, $15) that morning for card-making with an ice cream theme--call the shop to sign up.

New products keep showing up in brown boxes delivered by UPS or in white ones from the postal service or FedEx.  There are three double-sided great new So Sophie papers that arrived on Friday, another with distressed Fleur de Lis, a Safari print, and a musical collage paper.  We have gorgeous Tim Holtz buttons and Memo Pins.  There are lovely little drawer pulls for bookcovers from 7 Gypsies.  For you Halloween fans, we got the cutest black and white canvas stickers.

Be sure to stop in before the Fourth--we've got lots of patriotic stamps, red/white/blue papers and inks, even Golden Retrievers with flags in their mouths!  Everything you need for party and picnic decorations and summer greeting cards!

Happy Stamping!

Anne
