Anne's Upcoming Classes @ Your Maine Stamper

Lydia called the other day and asked if I knew what classes I'd be offering in the near future.  I came up with this list.  Each class will be held on Monday afternoon from 1-3 PM and the cost will be $15 per class.

May 3  Our monthly Christmas Card Class
Every month I try to come up with ideas we haven't tried yet--new card designs, layouts, or techniques.  It's always a surprise (mostly because I don't put the class kits together until the weekend before!).

May 10 Enchanted Butterflies
We'll be using the new stamps from the Memory Box Enchanted Butterfly release as well as the new 6X6 papers and some of the new 12X12s.  I did all my samples for this class already!  I made them as birthday cards because of the great new happiest birthday stamp, but they can be made for any occasion and I'll have a variety of sentiments to choose from.

May 24 Make Your Own Embellishments
I've been working up some ideas for making our own flowers and stamping and painting and spritzing them as well as other kinds of embellishments too.  This will be a fun class as I have lots and lots of ideas and techniques to try.

June 7 Christmas Cards and Coupon Books
I'm still looking for the perfect tool to make perforations with to make it
easier to tear coupons out of the book...

June 14 Flag Day--Flags, Pennants, and the Fourth of July
Because it's Flag Day, I thought we should make flags and pennants and
incorporate them into cards and room decor. It's less than a month to the
Fourth of July and I have some great party decorations in mind.

June 21 Welcome the First Day of Summer!
Cards and invitations for summertime wishes and events

June 28 Acetate Cards
I've got to figure out techniques for working on acetate that will translate into neat cards.
That is my plan and I'm sticking to it!

July 5 Another first-of-the-month Christmas Cards Class

Sometime in July: Classes with Dave Brethauer, owner and designer
from Memory Box!!!
I'm negotiating costs, dates, etc. with Dave and Lydia.
How many of you would be willing to pay $40 for a class taught by Dave
using colored pencils or watercolors and the newest
2010 Christmas/holiday stamps???
I need some feedback so we can decide soon whether we can afford to do this or not.
Please leave a message in the comments section, or e-mail me at
