March 30th--What's New at Your Maine Stamper!!!

The Stamp-of-the-Month is in!!!  Don't you just love this Dogwood Blossom from Hero Arts!  We inked it up yesterday and stamped on PolyShrink shrink plastic to make adorable embellishments which were added to cards stamped with the full-size image.  Lovely!  I can imagine this stamped and then stamped again on print paper with the blossoms then cut out and pop-dotted over the original stamped image, some jewels or pearls in the flower centers.  Or stamped on a creamy white and colored in soft chalks or colored pencils.  Call to reserve yours or stop in and get one before they are all gone!  This stamp won't last long because of its beauty and versatility!!!

Paula was in on Saturday and did another demo using the Rubber Stamp Tapestry peg stamps.  There are some lovely samples on the table.  These sets have been very popular lately--lots of pegs in each set to create a variety of looks on cards and tags and scrapbook pages.  They work nicely too on Courtney's templates for teapots, cups and saucers, birdhouse, gift bags, and gift boxes.  Come check them out!!!

Some of what's the newest of the new at Your Maine Stamper!  In anticipation of our annual April It's Raining Cats and Dogs weeks-long celebration and special events, we've gotten in a bunch of new cat and dog images and words, including one clear set that is adorable.  There are two 6X6 pads from Basic Grey for those of us who love working with the smaller scaled prints.  There's a new cursive LOVE stamp that is indeed lovely.  And there are three very large unmounted background stamps--branches, woodgrain, and spirals--which are stiff enough to ink up and use as is without an acrylic block (we're not even sure anyone sells an acrylic block that big!); and they are large enough to completely cover a standard A2 card.

This is the newest Bo Bunny paper with coordinating embellishments in the just-released Jazmyne collection.  Each of the complimentary pages has glitter and shimmer and shine!  We also have the newest shades in the Dot papers!!!

Just a few more days left to finish crafting those Easter cards and decorations!!!  Lydia's been decorating pails and bags to give you some ideas.  On one bag she used stickers and bejeweled some flowers--you can even have the bag if you buy the displayed materials she used!  There are some great  white velvet bunny stickers, Easter word stickers, and purple egg stickers.  We also have great ribbon for tying on those Easter baskets.  And who wouldn't love to find a cute rabbit, chick, bird, flower, or butterfly rubber stamp in their Easter basket!!!  There are some great punches and there's always Stickles in great spring colors!!!

TRADE SHOW UPDATE:  Connie and Lydia attended an industry trade show in the Boston area on Sunday.  What fun they had--and how tired they were by the end of the day!--visiting with dozens of vendors and placing orders.  Keep an eye on this blog for product arrival announcements.  They were able to order from some old favorites but also picked up a couple of new companies that we all feel you will absolutely love.  Connie even has a make and take already planned for one of the new products!

Next week will mark the beginning of our
It's Raining Cats and Dogs celebration and events
at Your Maine Stamper.  I'll have a post up by the end of the week with more details,
and you will want to get in on the activities we have planned.

Happy Stamping!

Anne
